Children's Hospital Receives Donation

Long® Fence supports Children's Hospital through a partnership between Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Costco Wholesale. May is Children's Miracle Network Hospital month at Costco Wholesale, whose corporate office matches a percentage of all donations received. Long® Fence is proud to be a contributor to their fundraising efforts to support this cause which has aided in the treatment of 17 million children since 1983.

Shepherd University Campus Underpass

Long® Fence provided Ameristar® ornamental fence and 6-ft. vinyl chain link fence to the underpass project that connects the East and West campuses of Shepherd University. Before construction, the over 4,000 students that attend the university had to cross Route 480 in order to pass from one campus to the other. The underpass is a positive assest to student safety, university operations, traffic safety and the the town of Shepherdstown.

US Open Preparations are Underway!

Long® Fence just completed a pedestrian bridge for the USGA US Open at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, PA, June 10-16, 2013. The pedestrian bridge spans the SEPTA rail system, taking spectators safely from the Wilson College parking area to the clubhouse. The bridge is just one of several fencing projects Long® Fence is handling for the 2013 US Open.

Long Fence To Exhibit at PMEXPO

Timber Guardrail Installation in College Park, MD

Approximately 3,100 linear feet of timber barrier guardrail was recently installed by Long® Fence along the 9700 block of Narragansett Parkway in College Park, MD. Timber guardrail is an excellent choice for neighborhoods, parks and recreational areas because of its ability to blend in with the natural landscape.

East Norbeck Local Park

East Norbeck Local Park in Montgomery County, MD is the installation site of a custom designed iron and wood fence. The fence was made at the Long® Fence facility in Ijamsville, MD. The park renovation and expansion includes an enlarged parking lot, a natural surface trail, picnic pavilion, restrooms, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball court, playground, soccer/lacrosse field, and expanded and re-aligned baseball and softball fields. New Fence for Waterloo Place Apartments

N. Calvert and E. Monument Street in Baltimore, MD is the site of a new Long® Fence installation of ornamental iron fence and plated highway guardrail for Walterloo Place Apartments, a controlled access, gated community.

Long Fence at Builder Mart on March 20th

Builder Mart is a one day trade show presented by the Home Builders Association of Maryland on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Over 400 exhibitors will display products and services of the home building industry. The event is at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland. Long Fence will be in booth 438 near the All-You-Can-Eat Bull Roast so be sure to stop by.

Guardrail Installation in PA
