Long® Fence is certified under the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule established by the EPA in accordance with Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act. EPA's RRP Rule went into effect April 22, 2010. It requires renovation and painting contractors and most other trades who work in pre-1978 housing and might disturb painted surfaces to become Lead Certified Renovators by successfully accomplishing Lead Safe Work Pratices training.

This certification is important because when lead paint is sanded, scraped or disturbed, the lingering dust can seriously impact people's health, especially children and pregnant women. Long® Fence supports safe practices in our work environment and consistently adheres to or surpasses safety requirements.
