BeethovenFound.jpgLong® Fence is honored to be a sponsor of the Memorial Day Tribute to Wounded Warriors presented by Beethoven Found. Long® Fence will provide over 350 linear feet of chain link fence for the event. The donated chain link fencing will help create a temporary outfield for the Wounded Warrior softball tournament.

The Memorial Day tribute will be held Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Great Meadow Event Center, 5089 Old Tavern Road, The Plains, Virginia.

The presenting organization, Beethoven Found, is a 501(c)3 corporation created to utilize major symphony orchestras to support people in need by organizing concerts to raise funds, provide entertainment, culture and classical music education in a fun environment.

The Memorial Day Tribute will feature over 200 members of the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony and National Symphony, performing together in an All-Star Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Ulysses James. A chorus of over 500, and more than six major bands, including the Blackbyrds, will perform during the all-day event. Other attractions include an air show, classic car show and Wounded Warrior softball tournament. Complimentary barbeque, beer, drinks and wine tasting will be available throughout the day. This event is open to the public and tickets are available online. Beethoven Found expects to raise over one million dollars for Wounded Warriors.

In addition to sponsoring the Wounded Warriors Tribute, Long® Fence recently installed a wood fence at a veteran’s residence in Maryland through Wounded Warrior Project.  Wounded Warrior Project provides services and programs to meet the needs of injured service members and is one of the Wounded Warrior organizations to benefit from the Memorial Day Tribute.
