Scoreboard Fence Installation at Oriole Park

Green Chain Link Fence

Long® Fence, the premier fencing company in the Mid-Atlantic region, today announced the successful completion of a commercial chain link mesh protective cover installation at the prestigious Oriole Park at Camden Yards in downtown Baltimore. The project was part of the ballpark’s enhancement initiatives in celebration of its 20th anniversary season.

The newly installed chain link mesh cover designed and constructed by Long Fence provides an important safety barrier for the recently modified Out-of-Town Scoreboard and bullpen picnic grove areas in the centerfield. With Opening Day fast approaching, the project ensures these popular fan sections are properly secured while improving this iconic baseball venue’s overall design and functionality.

The Orioles’ vision was to modernize the ballpark experience through smart design updates that elevate safety while preserving the intimacy that makes Camden Yards so special. Our specialized chain link solution seamlessly integrates protection and style to bring this goal to life.

Long Fence’s commercial division leveraged its decades of experience to engineer a durable yet transparent mesh cover system customized to meet the unique architectural requirements of the ballpark. Featuring heavy-duty materials and expert craftsmanship, the new installation is built to withstand the rigors of major league baseball season after season.

The protective cover installation wraps up extensive offseason renovations at Oriole Park in anticipation of the park’s 20th anniversary home opener versus the Minnesota Twins this Friday, April 6 at 3:05 pm. As the Orioles embark on this milestone season, Long Fence takes pride in contributing to the enhanced gameday experience awaiting fans of all ages.
