Temporary Fence Donation Secures Playground Project

Water Barrier and Temporary Fence

Long® Fence donated temporary fencing for construction of Dayspring Inc.’s Playground Project in the Pimlico/Park Heights community in Baltimore, Maryland. The playground, donated by McDonald’s® Foundation and KaBOOM!® is being constructed in one day, on November 15, by over 200 volunteers.

In a heartening display of community engagement and corporate responsibility, Long® Fence has donated critical temporary fence panels to ensure the safety and security of the construction site for the new community playground.

Scheduled for construction on November 15, this vibrant new playground is a philanthropic collaboration, generously funded by the McDonald’s® Foundation and constructed by KaBOOM!®, a national nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that all kids get the balanced and active play they need to thrive. Over 200 volunteers are expected to come together in a remarkable one-day build effort that speaks volumes about the power of community spirit and collective action.

The temporary fencing provided by Long® Fence will play a crucial role in securing the construction area, safeguarding volunteers and community members, and ensuring that the site remains secure until the playground is ready for use. This essential component will also help in maintaining the integrity of the site while the concrete foundations set, paving the way for a safe and sturdy play area that will serve the children of the community for years to come.

We are proud to support Dayspring Inc.’s initiative to bring joy and a safe play space to the children of Pimlico/Park Heights. This project aligns with our commitment to giving back to the communities where we operate, and we are thrilled to be a part of such a meaningful project. At Long® Fence, we believe in building more than just fences; we are in the business of building communities.
