Long® Fence supports Children's Hospital through a partnership between Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Costco Wholesale. May is Children's Miracle Network Hospital month at Costco Wholesale, whose corporate office matches a percentage of all donations received. Long® Fence is proud to be a contributor to their fundraising efforts to support this cause which has aided in the treatment of 17 million children since 1983.

Military Bowl Sponsorship

Long® Fence will serve as sponsor of the 5th annual Washington DC Military Bowl by providing the fencing to enclose the Military Village at the December 27th game between the Bowling Green Falcons (8-4) and San Jose State (10-2). Once again, Long® Fence is honored to support our troops as a sponsor of the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman. The 2012 Military Bowl will be held in Washington DC's historic RFK Stadium on December 27, 2012 with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 pm. The Bowling Green Falcons (8-4) will take on the San Jose State Spartans (10-2). The game will be televised on ESPN.

Temporary Fence Donation Secures Playground Project

Long® Fence donated temporary fencing for construction of Dayspring Inc.'s Playground Project in the Pimlico/Park Heights community in Baltimore, Maryland. The playground, donated by McDonald's® Foundation and KaBOOM!® is being constructed in one day, on November 15, by over 200 volunteers. The temporary fence panels will keep the site safe and secure until the work is finished and the concrete has had time to set.

Long® Fence is a Diamond Sponsor of the 2012 Komen Maryland Race for the Cure with a donation of temporary barricade fencing to be used to protect and separate pedestrian spectators and participants during the October 21, 2012 event in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This is the 20th Annual Race for the Cure, which has grown into Maryland's largest single day fundraiser with over 33,000 participants and over $3 million raised in the fight against breast cancer in 2011.

Long® Fence has provided over 300 linear feet of temporary fence panels to support the Lardarius Webb Charity Softball Game on June 3, 2012 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland. Gates open at noon, batting practice is at 1:00 pm and the first pitch is at 2:30 pm. This event is open to the public and tickets start at $13.00 per seat. All proceeds go to the Lardarius Webb Foundation, Inc. which raises and distributes funds to help underprivileged children and their families.
